Rating: 8/10 ( Simple design which is good, no unnecessary features )
Installation
Its installation is very simple, just plug the device to your laptop or computer and let it do the work. There will be some prompt messages that will appear, just click Yes or OK.
Rating: 9/10 ( Very easy to install )
Dashboard
Here is the preview of the dashboard
This device has the new version of dashboard compared to older versions of other broadbands which are larger. It has the usual feature of almost every broadband, like call and text. New thing about this dashboard is its new feature that will display your balance and connection time. Unfortunately, as you can see, for the past week that I've been using this device, the new features are just displaying errors. What is the point of putting these features if it doesn't work properly (Right?). Another bad thing about this device is you can't configure the connection setting directly unlike the general versions of earlier dashboards. (Sigh..)
Rating: 5/10 ( I prefer the older one, but dashboard are not that much of an issue. )
Connection Speed
The most important part! (Yay!) According to SMART, this device has a maximum connection speed of 7.2 Mbps but based on my experience the maximum speed this device achieved is almost 2.7 Mbps. Below is my speedtest (my speedtest on this one is slow cause I tested it on peak hours, I will try to provide more tests later):
Speed test taken 7:47 pm
Here's my summary about the connection, 7am to 3pm (1 to 2 Mbps), 4pm to 11pm (less than 1Mbps) 12am to 6am ( 2 to almost 3Mbps).
Internet Usage:
1. Browsing - if you just want to browse facebook, google or 9gag then this device is more than enough.
2. Gaming - i tried playing on Garena, no lag at all. Here at our apartment, the signal is superb.
3. Streaming - not that good, but slow on peak hours (4pm to 11pm)
4. Downloading - my maximum download rate is 300+kbps except on peak hours again 40 kbps.
Rating: 8/10 ( I am satisfied with the internet connection provided by this device )
This is just based on my experience on this device. Leave a comment and share your thoughts. Thank you!
